Europe finale in the Temple of Speed

It’s going to be pretty fast again from 6 to 8 September when the FACH AUTO TECH team will be assembling in Monza for the last race on European ground. The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season’s eighth round takes place at the traditional circuit in the royal park.

After their ultimate breakthrough at the previous race in Spa, the three Porsche drivers can now hardly wait for the next green light. Jaxon Evans, who tasted blood with his first podium finish in Belgium, is aiming to prove that this wasn’t just a one-time win.

Florian Latorre too is heading for the 5,8 kilometre high-speed circuit feeling strengthened and very optimistic. “Of course, I intend to continue the upward trend of the last races”, says the young Frenchman full of self-confidence. “A place on the rostrum definitely shouldn’t be out of reach.”

Third member of the team, Kantadhee Kusiri, still has his sights set on the Top 3 in the Rookie classification. The Thai needs two more points to get him onto the youngster podium and the FACH AUTO TECH driver is well aware of this challenge: “Starting from mid-field is more dangerous than being at the front of the grid, which is why it’ll be incredibly important to keep out of the scramble in the first, very tight chicane and not risk anything.”

Time will tell on Sunday 8 September at 12:00, when the international one-make championship field grapples for the last points to be won in Europe. As usual, Eurosport 1 will be airing the race live.
