For the seventh match of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup FACH AUTO TECH has a clearly defined aim. On the traditional Circuit of Spa Francorchamps, the championship hunt has to be turned.
Matteo Cairoli (I), #7: Let’s remember: Two pole positions – two wins – two fastest laps: In May Matteo Cairoli has snatched the maximum score in Belgium. The Porsche-Junior and his team chief Alex Fach have used the races of the Porsche Carrera Cup France in the recesses of the Ardennes for testing purposes. Now, the fast Italian returns ordered to get back the top of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup table. “We are well positioned and have only two points to catch up,” Alex Fach said optimistically. “Our mark is to go back home with the overall lead.”
Philipp Frommenwiler (CH), #6: Beeing on a tear Philipp Frommenwiler sails from one personal best to the next. In plain view of a great media attention at Hockenheimring the Swiss has illustrated his fighting spirit in exciting door-to-door duels. Team boss Alex Fach reckons that the performance of Hockenheim and the good results of Budapest and Spielberg are going to enable a step forward. After six races of the championship the Kreuzlinger is seventh by 45 points.
The race on the seven kilometres long Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps can be followed live on TV on Eurosport and Sky Sport 1 channel or online at racecam.de.
