FACH AUTO TECH READY FOR SHOWDOWN

Next weekend the Circuit of the Americas is the stage for the final battle of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. The races nine and ten of the fastest Porsche brand trophy are going to be thrillingly: only two points are separating FACH AUTO TECH from the title.

Matteo Cairoli (I), #7: For the Porsche-team from Sattel in Central Switzerland the fast Italian Matteo Cairoli credited already four wins to his overall ranking. It’s do or die now: to preserve the nerves and to do the successes of Barcelona, Monaco, Hockenheim and Monza again, in order to nail down the crown of the championship. Team boss Alex Fach is confidently: “We are well prepared and have a lot of time spent on the simulator. The tension in the team is high but I think the fact that we are in the tracker role is an advantage.”

Philipp Frommenwiler (CH), #6: On the demanding modern racetrack of Texas Philipp Frommenwiler has yet the opportunity to climb up one place overall. He is even on points with Christian Engelhardt on eighth and can underline his excellent season with another good result.

The races on the 5.5 kilometres long Circuit of the Americas can be followed live on TV on Eurosport and Sky Sport 1 channel or online at racecam.de. (petra weddige, motorsport-concepts.de; Fotos: Porsche)
