New design for 2018

Ready for the start of the 2018 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, FACH AUTO TECH has unveiled its latest livery for the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. The Swiss team lifted the lid on its 2018 challenger with its new driver line-up at the team presentation in Winterthur.

“It was a wonderful evening for all of us. We were delighted to welcome all of our partners and guests and can hardly wait until the Supercup season kicks off,” said Team Principal Alex Fach at the beginning of the presentation. “We have made a few changes in the run-up to this season, including a new driver line-up and a new livery. We have raced in our previous livery almost since we started in motorsport, and so we thought it was time for a change. We have a strong driver team and the guys will surely be able to celebrate some victories this season.”

The team event took place for the first time at the Porsche Zentrum Winterthur. A particular highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the new Cup car. The livery may have been updated in preparation for the 2018 season, but the design still bears the hallmark of the FACH AUTO TECH team with Swiss team staying true to its primary colours of red and white.

This season is set to be packed full of excitement for FACH AUTO TECH. In the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, the team will be competing with a brand-new driver line-up. The new drivers, Jaap van Lagen and Christof Langer, were presented to the partners and sponsors at the team presentation. Both have a number of years’ experience in the Supercup. Nick Yelloly also has a great deal of Porsche experience under his belt, and he arrives from the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. The trio aims to open the next chapter in FACH AUTO TECH’s Supercup success story, as van Lagen explained at the event.

The first race of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup takes place in Barcelona from 11 to 13 May. FACH AUTO TECH will be competing in the first round of the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse on 26 to 28 April at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
