From 29 June to 1 July, FACH AUTO TECH’s crew competes at the next Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup race in Spielberg, Austria. Thanks to their impressive team performance and Nick Yelloly’s victory in Monaco, the Swiss squad travels to the third championship weekend occupying top spot in the team standings.
The FACH AUTO TECH team is accompanied to the Spielberg Red Bull Ring by good memories. In 2017, together with Matt Campbell, they won the race in Austria and in 2018, team boss Alex Fach and his crew aim to follow up with another success. The omens are promising: After second place in the season opener and the victory in the renowned Principality of Monaco, the Sattel team has already made a successful start to the season.
The championship tables see FACH AUTO TECH drivers Nick Yelloly and Jaap van Lagen in second and third place with 32 points each, only a few points behind frontrunner Michael Ammermüller. Christof Langer also occupies an impressive second place in the Pro Am class. After two race weekends, it looks even better in the team standings, where the Sattel squad is leading with a 17 point advantage.
The race on the challenging Spielberg circuit starts on Sunday, 1 July at 12:30 and Eurosport will be broadcasting it live on Free TV.
