FACH AUTO TECH’s fourth round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season is scheduled for 12 to 14 July on the Silverstone Circuit and Porsche driver Florian Latorre in particular still has good memories of this date on the calendar. The Sattel squad is looking forward to a happy reunion too: the team will be supported by ex-Supercup driver Josh Webster in his native Britain.
Latorre had been in Towcester before in 2018 and impressively demonstrated his ability to cope with the fast and challenging circuit. The Frenchman not only took pole position on the Saturday, but celebrated a fantastic start-finish-victory on the Sunday – his first triumph of the season and in his rookie year to boot!
The rookie champion’s teammates Jaxon Evans and Kantadhee Kusiri will also be travelling to UK with a portion of know-how from their Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup test days at the Silverstone Circuit on 29 and 30 May. Evans ranked sixth on the combined timesheet and proved that he is also a fast contender on the British track.
Team manager Alex Fach and his Team Project 1 – Fach are delighted to welcome a special guest driver alongside regular driver Marius Nakken: the former FACH AUTO TECH pilot Josh Webster is joining the squad in England. Together with the then rookie, the Swiss secured several top 5 results, including Silverstone, in the international one-make trophy in 2017 and so this year they’re aiming for a further top result at the 25-year-old’s home fixture.
Lights go green for the race on 14 July at 11:15 local time (12:15 Swiss time). TV channels Eurosport 1 and SPORT1 will be broadcasting the race live. A live stream is also available on SPORT1 on Sunday.
