The next Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup round takes place in the U.K. Just one week after the latest success by Matt Campbell in Austria, now it’s local hero Josh Webster’s turn to set his sights on a podium finish.
“My home race is something very special”, said the Brit about the coming race. “I first drove in Silverstone in 2011 and have raced here many times since then. I know every corner by heart and am ready to give my all to be at the top.”
Team manager Alex Fach is also confident about the season’s next race: ”Our success in Austria has encouraged us to work even more exactly and thoroughly. Despite the very tight time schedule, we’ve used every minute for optimal preparation and I think the next top placement is within reach.”
After the Friday practice starting at 17:55, the weekend continues with qualifying on Saturday morning at 9:45. The race itself starts at 11:30 on Sunday and will be covered live by Eurosport 2 and Sky Sport 1.
